Raft Race
The Raft Race is an annual event, taking place in December on the Warri River.

The Raft Race consists of two races. The goal of the first race is to complete a set trail. Winner is the first raft that fully completes the trail.

In the second race the winner will be the last floating raft. Everything is allowed in the is race.

Rules:

- team of four, minimum one female

- rafts must be assembled on the beach

- no Marine or engine parts

The last raft Race took place on December 12, 1998, It was a great success, There were eight rafts in the race. Fortunetly on the first race all rafts returned to the beach floating. But as for the second race, it was a great battle where many hero's gave up everything they had to stay floating, but unfortunely only one raft returned safely. After the race there was a BBQ and lots of drinks with the background of a live band, The race was organized by Arthur Jones, Christa Sterk, Mazen Khoury, and Lorien Kater.
